Music Classes

Our music classes are designed with the idea that listening, dancing and making music are powerful ways for little ones to experience and make sense of the world.

You can expect a lot of movement, energy and sensory stimulation in each class, so you and your little one can have maximal fun while exploring music together.

Winter 2024 Schedule

Musical Playground

This 5-week series includes unique and specialized music classes designed to expose you and your child to a variety of instruments, rhythms and activities. They will encounter different styles of music from world to folk to classical, and learn new ways of responding to and appreciating the music they have inside them. There is a “play” component built into each class, allowing space for everyone to have a “full bodied” musical experience.

Session 1: Thursdays January 11 to February 8

9:30-10:15am for babies 0-12 months ($75+GST)
10:30-11:15am for babies 8-24 months ($75+GST)

Session 2: Thursdays February 15 to March 14

9:30-10:15am for babies 0-12 months ($75+GST)
10:30-11:15am for babies 8-24 months ($75+GST)

Preschool Instrument Adventures

This 4-week session is for preschooles ages 3-4 years old to explore and play all sorts of interesting and unique musical instruments. They will learn about melody and rhythm, different properties of sound, and how music can make us feel.

Session 1: Thursdays January 21 to February 10

2:00-2:45pm for 3-4 years old ($60+GST)

Session 2: Thursdays February 17 to March 9

2:00-2:45pm for 3-4 years old ($60+GST)
