Baby Signing

In our fun and musical Baby Signing classes, we use American Sign Language (ASL) signs, spoken words, music, stories, and play to focus on building building communication between you and your baby


Eash week we introduce a new topic such as “food and drink”, “family”, and “animals”.  You’ll learn at least 10 new signs in every class together with creative songs and activities to help you practice at home.


We offer a range of classes based on your previous experience with baby signing and your baby’s age.  Classes for “lap babies” are for wee ones who are not yet mobile, typically 8 months and under.

Intro to Baby Signing - FREE CLASS!

For those who are new to baby signing, come to our free introductory class to learn what it’s all about.

  • Tuesday January 16:  9:30-10:15am for lap babies* (FREE)
  • Tuesday January 16:  10:30-11:15am for all babies (FREE)

Baby Signing

For those who have taken the Intro to Baby Signing or want to just dive right in, join us for 8 weeks of music and activities while learning lots of ASL vocabulary.

  • Tuesdays January 23 to March 12:  9:30-10:15am for lap babies* ($120+GST)
  • Tuesdays January 23 to March 12:  10:30-11:15am for all babies ($120+GST)

MORE Baby Signing

If you already know lots of baby signs, join us every Saturday for 8 weeks of extension learning, where you can increase your vocabulary and learn more about ASL.

  • Saturdays January 20 to March 9:  1:00-1:45am for families with previous baby signing experience ($120+GST)

* “lap babies” are not yet mobile, maybe rolling and sitting on their own but not crawling or walking yet, they are still content to sit on your lap.
